This long section of trail runs 20 miles from Max Patch Road to the town of Hot Springs, NC. Along the way it passes the Roaring Fork Shelter, Lemon Gap, Walnut Mountain Shelter, Garenflo Gap, Deep Park Shelter, and a Jesuit Hostel.
